The article discusses the strategy and tactics in the North Caucasus of the three powers: Russia, Iran and Turkey before and during the Russian-Ottoman War (1735-1739). There considered attempts of the Crimean Khan to win people of Kabarda, Chechnya and Dagestan to side of the Ottoman Porte and his own one. The author analyzes aspirations of the Ottoman Porte, Crimea, Persia and Russia which put the Northeast Caucasus into the forefront of their foreign policy.
