This article reveals the content and conditions for the effective implementation of models reproducing labor resources that meet the requirements of the new technological structure. The research methodology is based on the principles of continuity, unification, rhythm, and consistency. The features, specificity, and shortcomings of existing models based on the transformation of objects of regulation, the influence of demographic, family, and reproductive-oriented approaches are substantiated. An analysis of the elements, structure, stages, intercomponent connections, technologies and tools for regulating the reproduction of labor resources allows us to assess the shortcomings of linear, linear-adaptive, and iterative models based on types of reproduction, which contradicts the requirements of an innovative economy. The interactive model, which is based on the coordination and synchronization of network interaction between process participants, is represented by an integral set of two complementary reproductive subsystems - reproductive (accounting for the results of parental labor) and that functioning in the real sector of the economy (individual and group development trajectories and targeted specialization). By decomposing the model elements, the authors identified the time compression during the reproduction of labor resources, which makes it possible to implement a strategy of advanced development on the basis of the reproduction of labor resources.
