The article analyzes the main strategies for achieving persuasiveness in a news report. The author defines persuasiveness, analyzes the main approaches to this concept, and also considers the main goals and objectives of achieving a persuasiveness effect in an English-language news report. In addition, the analysis of the features of the representation of the strategy of persuasiveness in English-language news is carried out on the examples of news reports.
