Development strategy of library and information sciences until 2030

The article raises the issue of strengthening the systemic interaction between three key elements of librarianship: practice, library and information sciences and the branch system of personnel training (library and information education). The necessity of strategic management of scientific research and development in the library and information sphere for the effective provision of the industry with new fundamental and applied knowledge, technological and design science-based solutions is determined. The author's vision of the strategic agenda and strategic management tools for the development of library and information sciences until 2030 is presented.
