Strategy of higher education institutions development in the conditions of education system reforming

The article deals with the issue of education modernization in Russia basing upon sustainable development of the education system. The undertaken study of the problem elicits that the strategy focused on innovative development, satisfaction of educational and intellectual needs of the modern person and spiritual enhancement of the Russian society will result in advancement of the Russian higher educational institutions.
