The article is devoted to so called arrowhead-shaped artifacts from the burial site Archiereyskaya Zaimka near Tomsk city, excavated by S.K. Kuznetsov in the end of XIX century. The artifacts which were considered as arrowheads and sometimes as details of armour gets a new interpretation. It''s shown, that they were made from parts of armours plates, wide spread among the nomadic population of Southern Siberia and Upper Ob Region. These artifacts could be used as magical tool of fighting against evil spirits. Arrowhead-shaped artifacts could be such a junction of attack and defence instrument and probably an indicator of social rank.
