The pattern of high-performance resources of science and education of the Samara region, including computer clusters from Institute of Image Processing Systems and Samara Centre of Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences is described. The outcomes of testing and efficiency estimation of the indicated clusters are done. The tasks of centre of high-performance information processing are stated, the perspectives of its development are considered.
