The article describes structural functional organization of convicts’ group legal consciousness psychology basing on the modern approaches to studying psychology of large social groups. The author reveals social perceptions - mental representations in the legal sphere which are structural elements of convicts’ group legal consciousness psychology and analyses their psychological functions.
