Relevance. One of the requirements for testing human condition is the determination of criteria, used to assess the level of informativeness of personal characteristics. With that, the main criteria of informativeness of personal characteristics of athletes is the level of their technical preparedness and the competitive performance. Research aim. The research aim is to develop a formalized assessment of an integrated indicator of informativeness of personal characteristics of young combat athletes practicing kyokushin kaikan karate. Research methods. The research methods are analysis of scientific and methodological literature, method of expert assessments, video filming, methods of mathematical statistics. Research results. During the research the analysis of the structure and the content of the estimated indicator of informativeness of personal characteristics of young combat athletes have been conducted.
