The structure and raw materials base of fisheries industry in the Far East

The structure and raw materials base of fisheries industry in the Far East have been analyzed on the basis of statistic and industry data. Aquatic bioresources catch dynamics between 2009 and 2017, production of live, fresh or refrigerated fish, production of fish and fish products processed and preserved by the territorial entities of the Far Eastern Federal District have been analyzed. Moreover, the causes and patterns that had led to catch fluctuations and declines followed by recovery during certain periods have been synthesized. Export and import of the Far Eastern fisheries products have been reviewed and the share of major trading partners in export and import dealings has been determined.
