The question about the structure of a lyrical event as a narrative category is examined in the present article at the example of O. Mandelstam's poem «Tristia». The analysis of this poetical text exposes that a change of the lyrical subject's axiological system when he comes into contact with the Other's consciousness becomes eventful in narrative development of a lyrical plot. (The Other can represent another hypostasis of a lyrical subject, a lyrical character, universal cultural mask or system of signs indicating a certain poetical tradition).
