A structure of truth in Japanese conceptual reality

The article deals with the Japanese concept of Makoto traces the origins of its semantic scope. Basing on the contemporary hermeneutical approaches, the author places the concept of truth in the structure of Japanese culture’s semantic scope. The author also provides a brief etymological and textual analysis of the shades of its meaning, and then shows existential states that were deeply rooted in the very nature of the human mind of the time. Basing on the founded phenomenologically different foundations of the Makoto experience, the author enumerates four types of hexis that the mind (kokoro) can have, and which can disclose truth.
