The article is devoted to the study of the structure and semantics of regional calendar rites on the example of the Bezdezhsky rite-round dance "Strillka". Until now, the round dance ritual exists in the local tradition in the village of Bezdezh in the Brest region. The elements of the rite-round dance are considered, their symbolic essence is determined, the semantics and symbolism of ritual verbal and non-verbal units in a functional context are revealed. The study was carried out in line with the system analysis of verbal and nonverbal components of folk calendar-ritual complexes that is relevant in modern science.
