Community structure of testate amoebae from sphagnum bog Chibirleiskoye in the Middle Volga Region was investigated. 41 testate amoebae species was identified. In the most wet and dry conditions communities are characterized by lowest abundance and species diversity. There are three community types within bog. In submerged sphagnum Arcella vulgaris polymorpha predominates, in driest biotope Assulina muscorum, Trigonopyxis minuta, and Archerella flavum prevail and in intermediate conditions typical sphagnobiont species complex (Heleopera petricola, Hyalosphenia elegans, H. papilio, Nebela tincta major and Archerella flavum) is formed.
