Structure of associations of signs of mental and physical health in patients with chronic gastritis

With use of SF-36 questionnaire analysis of state of health in residents of West Siberia suffering from chronic gastritis (n=225) has been carried out. For grouping of signs of health cluster analysis and method of multidimensional scaling were used. It has been found that grouping of indices of physical and mental health in clusters in outpatients differs from such one of inpatients. Indices of health form many-level clusters with complex interrelationships which structure responses clearly to the kind of treatment needed by the patient. Findings promote improvement of quality of assessment of state of patients with chronic gastritis and correction of complex treatment of this disease.
