From the point of view of the sentence semantic content the main parts of a sentence constitute the structural pattern (predication) whereas all parts of a sentence (main and secondary) constitute the positional pattern of the sentence (proposition). Sentences (utterances) as parts of complex syntactic entities are organized with the help of rhetoric predicates
