Structural transformation of the economy and labor shortage

In recent years, the Russian economy has been significantly affected by foreign economic sanctions and restrictions, which has led to several shocks. There is tension in the labor market caused by a clear imbalance between the supply and demand of labor, despite the low unemployment rate. The demographic situation combined with the geopolitical situation creates conditions for a critical shortage of labor resources. The article addresses the main factors determining the fullness of the labor market in the Russian Federation. A comprehensive analysis of the state of the Russian labor market and human resources has been carried out, key problems have been identified and prospects for the development of the human resources system have been identified.
