Structural phase condition and acoustic characteristics of surface layer after various modes of processing at draft and finishing stages of product manufacturing

In the present work research of one of widely applied steels in machine building - steel 35ХГС at various stages of machining is conducted. The primary goal of research consisted in definition of gradient steel structure parameters. Complex research with use of modern control methods has been conducted: the raster electronic microscopy, translucent diffraction electronic microscopy on thin foils, X-ray structural analysis and spectral acoustic method material condition estimation.
