Structural and functional peculiarities of codes witches in Italian glossy magazines

In the article the results of the structural and functional analysis of the code-switches in the articles and headlines of the Italian glossy magazines are given. The code-switch, typical for the data under examination, is an insertion or an Embedded Language internal island, carrying out the topic-related, emphatic, decorative or emotional pragmatic function.
