The young athletes of the Volgograd region moderately expressed structural changes of heart (the myocardium hypertrophy in combination with increase cavity of the left ventricle are revealed) which were estimated as physiological changes of adaptive character. Correlations of degree of expressiveness of the specified changes with level of sports qualification of athletes isn't determined.
