The structural features of inflorescences of three species of bur-reeds ( Sparganium microcarpum (Neum.) Raunk., Sparganium erectum L. and Sparganium emersum Rehm.)

Morphological features of inflorescences of three species of bur-reeds: Sparganium microcarpum (Neum.) Raunk., S. erectum L. and S. emersum Rehm. have been investigated. The basic floral unit of inflorescences in species of the genus Sparganium is the capitate inflorescence, composed of unisexual flowers, arranged in a spiral. The structural features of main and lateral flowering axes of the mentioned species are examined.
