A multicomponent film (GaAs1-dBid)1-x-y(Ge2)x(ZnSe)y, which is single-crystal with orientation (111) and has a sphalerite structure with a crystal lattice parameter af = 5.656 Å., has been synthesized by liquid-phase epitaxy.
