Structures for support of Russian business abroad

The functions and powers of Russian business support structures abroad are considered, their comparative analysis is carried out. The "ordinary" structures are singled out, the exclusive powers of which are recognized by international trade and diplomatic practice. The content of these powers remains unchanged precisely because of this recognition, despite the modernization of Russian “supporting” structures. On the contrary, many services that were previously offered exclusively by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry are now expanded and modernized as part of support measures from the REC and its constituent entities. Like the REC, trade missions also facilitate the promotion of Russian products, but at the level of a particular state. Also at the REC level, a number of instruments for financial support of Russian companies in foreign markets have been created. The conclusion is made about the special role of consular offices using means of diplomacy and having a number of exclusive powers in protecting the interests of Russian companies.
