The student-centered approach to education and the ethics of teacher-student interaction in the XXI century medical university

The article reviews the current issues of interaction between university teachers and students, taking into account the specifics of modern methods of teaching in the medical university on the basis of the student-centered approach. The authors highlighted the advantages of the student-centered approach, focusing also on the analysis of some difficulties that teachers and students may encounter in the transition to this model of organization of learning. They also raised the topic of academic ethics, listing its main elements and stressing the importance of teachers' and students' compliance with ethical norms and rules.
