The article analyses the place and role of the subject of cognition in the framework of different epistemological models of rationality, which opens up new perspectives of consideration in this problem field, changes interpretation of the nature of a cognition subject, encouraging to look for new features of atypical epistemological schemes of development of the analysis dealing with the epistemological relationship of "subject and object".
