The article provides an analytical overview of theoretical and methodological approaches to studying of subjective self-identity. The significance of activity and personal self-regulation ratio is approved. It was found that the procedural level of subject activity can be described through the processes of conscious self-regulation as a psychological mechanism of subjectivity. The main purpose of the work was to study self-regulation of Ulan-Ude teachers’ emotional states. The results showed the correlation between occupational stress indicators and scale of self-regulation. The research revealed that personal and situational anxiety is in relationship with various self-regulation sides. Correlation analysis approved that conscious self-regulation of teachers was under the influence of anxiety as personal property, and stable individual characteristics of personality impacted on the process of self-regulation. It was concluded that individual characteristics of self-control should be understood in their relationship with emotional states, different structures of consciousness and unconsciousness.
