The article demonstrates the role of the subject-oriented approach in education, which serves as a methodological framework emphasizing the individuality of each student and their active participation in the learning process. The problem is driven by the need to develop socially significant qualities in high school students, enabling them to successfully adapt to modern society and engage in active social life. One of the approaches that can facilitate this goal is the subject-oriented approach, which involves students actively participating in their own personal and professional development. The article examines the historical development and concept of the subject-oriented approach in education, along with strategies for cultivating socially significant skills in high school students. Differentiated learning and project-based activities are analyzed as key methods of the subject-oriented approach in fostering these qualities.
