Judicial protection of human rights and freedoms

Аbstract. The article examines the constitutional and legal nature of judicial protection of human and civil rights and freedoms. Reveals the basics of the organization of the judicial system, providing such protection. Judicial protection is also highlighted, which, unlike many other mechanisms, is considered universal and has a number of exceptional properties, and many norms of the Constitution of the Russian Federation are aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens in criminal proceedings.
