Judicial decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation as one of the ways to protect state sovereignty

The article deals with the transformation of the concept of “state sovereignty in the context of globalization. Within the framework of global cooperation of states in legal matters, there are often conflicts of national and supranational legislation. One of the most striking examples is the issuance by the European Court of Human Rights of decisions that are contrary to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, binding upon the ratification of the ECHR. In this regard, the mechanism of ensuring the state sovereignty of the Russian Federation is analyzed through consideration by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation of cases on resolving the issue of the possibility of executing a decision of an interstate body for the protection of human rights and freedoms in case of non-compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
