Judicial institutions the estate of the Stroganovs in the XIX century: general characteristics

The article examines a general description of the judicial system created by the Stroganovs in the indivisible estate of Perm in the early nineteenth century. The study indicates the functioning judiciary of that period as well as which persons performed judicial functions. The author reveals the features of the patrimonial justice of the Stroganovs: the election of judges, separation of the judical brench from the executive one, participation of the people in the process of administration of justice.
