Suicidal behavior in males: evaluation of hopelessness and depression roles using structural equation modeling. Part III. Interpersonal style as a mediator between anger and severe suicide attempt risk in males experiencing hopelessness

Mechnikov national university Institute of innovative and post-diploma education, Odessa, Ukrai^ In the third part of this study additional models of suicidal behavior of men experiencing the phenomenon of hopelessness are provided. The models describe the mediation influence of reactive anger on the severity suicide attempt by factor Agreeableness (Cooperation) and its subscale Acquiescence (Big5). The relationship between the interpersonal style of interaction with the features of experiencing anger in suicide attempters exhibiting the phenomenon of hopelessness are discussed. The obtained models are compared with the models built for the sample of depressed attempters, the phenomenon of Hopelessness is discussed with regard to specific risk of severe attempts.
