In recent years, more and more articles have appeared in the media that the suicidal behavior of a teenage graduate is directly related to a large academic load and to school final exams. This article presents its own empirical study on the study of suicidal risk in high school students in the pre-examination period. The leading method to study the problem is the diagnostic ("Suicide Risk Questionnaire (OSR)" by A. G. Shmeleva modified by T. N. Razuvaeva) and the static methods (multifunctional statistical Mann-Whitney criterion) to identify the presence or absence of suicidal risk for schoolchildren who passed or did not pass the state final certification in 2020. Based on the results of an empirical study, the hypothesis that school graduates who pass the state final certification (CSE or CSE) has a higher suicidal risk than students who continue their schooling has not been statistically confirmed, although some self-destructive trends have been identified. The presented study was conducted during the pandemic, when schoolchildren studied in a distance format, so the results should be double-checked in fulltime schooling in the usual life circumstances and educational situation. The results of an empirical study can form the basis of the primary prevention of deviant personality behavior and, in particular, suicidal risk.
