The article provides a brief review of the literature on chronobiological aspects of suicide. The main rhythmic characteristics recorded in the description of suicides are discussed. The seasonality of the suicide rate is shown - the predominance of the spring-summer rise in the Russian Federation and many countries of the world. The association with seasonal factors, though unparalleled between men and women and in individuals of different age groups is discussed. Statistical differences depending on weekdays and daytime are considered. Among the weather factors, the most important is abrupt temperature changes - the more sharply the temperature increases, the greater the number of suicides, the more sharply it falls - the fewer suicides. In conclusion, the necessity to continue research of chronobiologic aspects of suicidal behavior is proclaimed.
