The article is devoted to the study of the country's financial mechanism at the state level and the disclosure of the main elements of the country's financial system. The article analyzes the theoretical approaches of various scientists to the concept of the "financial mechanism of the country", on the basis of which the structure of the financial system and its main functions and characteristics are presented. Also, the scientific work reveals the barriers and problems that hinder the effective development of the financial system. The problems of the development of the financial system are revealed.
