The essence of financial security of the region

Financial security of the region is one of the most important categories in the field of regional management in the current conditions. Considering the differences in the level of development of a huge number of regions of our country, the study of the essence of their financial security is especially relevant in the context of the need to improve the quality of their functioning. The article attempts to study the essence of the financial security of the region. An analysis of existing approaches to the category of “financial security” is presented. Approaches to understanding the essence of the financial security of the region are presented and analyzed. Based on the studied material, we propose our own approach to understanding the essence of the financial security of the region.
