Essence and problems of constitutional and legal regulation of the system of public authorities

The article provides an analysis of the mechanism of the Russian system of public authority and its legal regulation in modern realities that have arisen after the constitutional reform. The purpose of the study is a detailed examination of the modern constitutional and legal regulation and consolidation of the system of public power in Russia. Normative legal acts, doctrinal sources and significant scientific experience of other researchers related to this topic have been studied. The paper considers the main properties of the system of public power enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, taking into account the peculiarities of building federal relations as the basis for delimiting the functions and powers of subjects of public power.
