Essence and specificity of the concept "social and cultural technology": theoretical and methodological aspect

The article is devoted to identifying the essence and specifics of the concept of "social and cultural technology" in the pedagogical process of institutions of a cultural profile, taking into account the appeal to methodological principles: culturological and pedagogical. An expanded author's interpretation of the concept under study in relation to the management practice of specialists in the social and cultural sphere is presented. The stability of the use of the concept of "social and cultural technology" in the popularization of new spheres of social and cultural activity (inclusive amateur art, art volunteering, international excursions and travel, inclusive children and adolescent leisure) is associated with the possibility of their saturation with value-semantic content aimed at achieving creative self-actualization of the individual in a humanistically oriented environment of institutions of a sociocultural profile. The comprehension of the specifics of the concept under study in the form of an scientific phenomenon is due both to the implementation of universal methodological principles: consistency, integrity, determinism, and to the identification of system-wide contradictions - the driving forces of its productive functioning in the conceptual and terminological system of the theory of social and cultural activity.
