The nature and typology of contractual relations

Contract relations play an important role in the modern market economy, providing optimal economic interaction of subjects. In many developed countries, most transactions between participants in the economic process are carried out through contractual relations aimed at minimizing transaction costs. The article discusses the theoretical aspects of the emergence and formation of contract relations, analyzes various approaches to understanding the term "contract" and provides a typology of contractual relations.
