The essense and significance of a forensic category of the "explosive object"

In this article the essence and meaning of the concept of forensic notion of the “explosive object” (ammunition, explosive devices, explosives, pyrotechnics). The author has focused the attention on the fact that these objects are known to the Russian criminal law, but at the legislative level, these concepts are not defined. The concepts of given items and the legal regulation of their turnover is fragmented and chaotic in nature. This is seen not only as significant disadvantage for law enforcement, but also for the whole state supervision and control in the area of explosives turnover. Rectifying this problem is possible particularly through the adoption of the Federal Law «On the explosives and items that contain them»
