The essence and importance of small and medium-sized businesses in the functioning of municipalities

The main and characteristic feature of the functioning of small and medium-sized businesses in municipalities is the realization of the resource potential of the local territory. However, issues related to the management of this sector of the economy remain insufficiently developed within individual municipalities. Based on this, the purpose of the study is to assess the impact of the functioning of small and medium-sized enterprises on the economy of the regions, and to identify existing problems in the interaction of representatives of private enterprises with the state.
