Essence of the concept of decorative applied art

The article deals with the essence of the concept of arts and crafts and states that arts and crafts has a broad social and philosophical context. It includes the traditions of folk art, confessional creativity, secular art traditions. The conditions of its general definition meet the traditions of folk art (traditional art), the contents of which include an ensemble of folk clothes and folk architecture, artistic carved or painted spinning wheels, in general handicrafts, tools, means of transport, etc.
