Review of the book about the life and work of Semyon Davidovich and Valentina Chrisanfovna Kirlian, famous Krasnodar inventors and scientists. Such a book, entirely dedicated to their activities, is published in Russia for the first time. The focus of the reviewer was analysis the structure, a brief description of the content of each chapter, as well as identifying the advantages and disadvantages of the book. Among the positive characteristics - created by the author volume, versatile portrait of scientists, combining a fairly detailed description of their work, ideas, the General atmosphere of the time, the role of various public and scientific figures in the promotion and inhibition of their discoveries and innovations, as well as the development of Kirlianography abroad. Among the shortcomings noted the lack of references to sources, bibliographic list of works about spouses Kirlian, which makes this publication more popular scientific than scientific.
