In the article, necessity of study of social support in the aspect of development of social competences, self-help in patients with schizophrenia and creation of external conditions of social support aimed at prevention of aggressive behavior is based; results of empirical investigation of peculiarities of perception of social support by patients with schizophrenia, character of connections of indices of social support and aggression are presented.
