Relation between structural changes of the brain and clinical forms of cerebrovascular pathology in hypertensive patients

Structural changes of brain in patients with hypertension depending on the clinical manifestations of chronic cerebrovascular pathology according to MRI are investigated. It is shown that in hypertensive patients structural changes of brain considerably advance the development of clinical manifestations of cerebrovascular pathology. MRI signs of hypertensive encephalopathy are registered in patients with subclinical stage of disease. This group of patients should become of high priority when carrying out preventive and rehabilitation medical actions.
