Freedom of access to information as an ethical problem: protection of children from information harmful to their health and development

The article deals with the availability of information for children and teenagers in today's society. The author presents results of the sociological research, which reviewed the opinions of parents about the control of information received by the younger generation via the Internet or television. The author believes that classes at the additional education system providing secure informational socialization of children or adolescents is an alternative to spending time on the Internet or watching television.
