Freedom of assembly and association in the legal positions of the European Court

This article examines the legal positions of the European Court, which relate to freedom of assembly and association. In its practice, the Court proceeds from the premise that freedom of assembly (association) andfreedom of speech are closely interrelated and mutually conditional. The European Court regards freedom of speech with regard to the freedom of assembly (association) as a general guarantee, and in turn, the latter - additional (special) guarantees of freedom of speech.
