Objective: to estimate long-term results of surgical sling treatment of stress urinary incontinence in Russia. Materials and methods: From 2001 to 2011 years 4867 patients were operated in 40 major urological and gynecological centers. Operation TVT was performed in 12,8% cases, TVT-O - in 80% cases. Results: Maximum follow-up period was 120 months (mean 27,6 months). Cough test was negative in 94,5% cases, up to 78% of patients were satisfied with their condition after operation. Intra- and postoperative complication's rate was 3,8% and 11% respectively. Conclusions: Surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence with tension-free-tape shows good results. But as it's only preliminary report, further multicenter comparable studies of subgroups of different tension-free-tapes are required and will be done.
