What new is brought by the amendments of the Law on inheritance of Republic of Serbia?

In her paper, the author analyses the amendments of the Law on Inheritance of Republic of Serbia made at the beginning of 2015. Relating them to appropriate provisions of the amended Law on Extra judicial Proceedings and the Law on Public Notaries of Republic of Serbia, the author points out to their meaning, level of conformity, advantages as well as their deficiencies. A specific segment in the paper refers to a comparative law review of solutions in individual contemporary legal systems in the region, which thematically correspond to the amendments made in the Law on Inheritance. In the author's opinion, although these amendments are recent, they would have to, being insufficient, non-harmonized with other regulations and for the sake of a facilitated legal trade, suffer further amending in an adequate direction.
