Taxis: the prototypical art of the intercategorial interaction of semantic categories

The purpose of this paper is to identify a prototypical way of intercategorial interaction of taxis with functional-semantic categories and subcategories of aspectuality, temporality, temporal localization, iterativeness and phaseness. At the intersection of taxis and related categories and subcategories, “responsible” for the representation of temporal relations, the mechanism of intercategorical crossing is realized as a prototypical way of intercategorial interaction. It determines the actualization of various primary taxis categorical situations of simultaneity and non-simultaneity in German statements with deverbatives and temporal prepositions.
