Thus, the investigator must carefully prepare for the confrontation, provide different options for the development of the situation, taking into account the fact that a professional lawyer who is well versed in forensic tactics and techniques will attend the investigative action. The investigator needs to consider what tactics the defender will use to achieve his goals and what tactics the investigator himself will have to use. The paper discusses the tactics of preparation and conducting confrontation and possible actions of a lawyer and his client, giving false testimony.
